Richmond Wellbeing
Roobix wins marketing management contract for Richmond Wellbeing.
Perth Marketing and Digital Service Provider, Roobix is proud to announce they have won the managed marketing contract with Richmond Wellbeing this month. This partnership will have an innovative digital focus centering around Richmond Wellbeing’s key areas of expertise.
Richmond Wellbeing has been a leader and influencer in bringing Recovery into mainstream mental health practice. Thanks to their new partnership with Roobix, Richmond Wellbeing will be able to better deliver their marketing and communications strategy as part of their objective to maximise the provision of person-centred, recovery-oriented services and extend the provision of learning and development services, alongside the implementation of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).
Neil Guard, CEO of Richmond Wellbeing, had this to say on the potential for this partnership, “Expanding our services and increasing client engagement are important focus areas for Richmond Wellbeing and we wanted a marketing partner, with experience in using digital business channels, who could deliver strategic outcomes while still ensuring sensitivity to client and community needs. Roobix already has a track record in the not-for-profit sector, and I am looking forward to working with them to show the community the value of our mental health services”.
Roobix offers companies a scalable outsourced marketing alternative to the cost of a full-time marketing resource. With the landscape of marketing and communications shifting to a digital first focus, this outsourced approach has become necessary for organisations who don’t have the in-house expertise. Roobix provides access to multiple marketing specialists for a set monthly fee, less than that of a full-time marketing resource.
Speaking about the partnership and the potential of outsourced marketing, Roobix CEO Melissa Strutt said, “With a bit of help, every business can enjoy increased success. The team is enthusiastic about helping to promote the values of Richmond Wellbeing and showing the value of our service.”

Australian Insurance Services
Since its humble beginnings in 1995, Australian Insurance Services (AIS) has forged an enviable reputation as WA’s leading independent Insurance Broker. Like many business in the nineties, AIS built an outstanding client base on the back of Yellow Pages advertising and listings. As technology progressed and the yellow pages declined in popularity, Search Engine Advertising was recognised as a legitimate lead sourcing tool helping AIS’s to continue getting some results from their advertising spend.
AIS were generating an average of 2-3 leads on line per month with an alternative provider and met with Roobix to discuss both digital and more traditional marketing strategies.
“We set Roobix one objective, to either match or exceed the results we were getting with our existing provider on Google AdWords. They didn’t let us down” Commented Jenny Forrest of AIS.
AIS engaged Roobix on a Managed Marketing Service, which included managing the Google AdWords account, as well as; website improvements, direct sales activity, graphic design and the development of blogs and a monthly newsletter to existing clients.
“Roobix not only increased our inbound leads on Google (now averaging 9 per month via Adwords) but provide complimentary nurturing and lead generation activities via alternative channels. We have been delighted with the transparency and effectiveness of the Roobix Managed Marketing Service”, commented Jenny.

Natural Water Solutions
Natural Water Solutions (NWS) is a leading Australian supplier of water sanitisation products. Established in 2010, NWS had engaged a number of digital agencies to assist with the development of the website as well as ongoing Google AdWords campaigns.
Managing Director Quenton Leach commented, “We knew we were onto something good with our products but for years we just couldn’t get the traction online that we expected. There were plenty of promises from the other digital agencies but very little transparency and ultimately very limited results”.
Initially, Roobix was engaged to take over the NWS AdWords account, which over time grew to a much broader engagement.
“The change to Roobix delivered almost immediate results”, commented Quenton. “Our previous marketing engagements made us pretty sceptical but with the improvements we’ve seen on our Google AdWords results we were confident to engage Roobix for our other marketing activities”.
As well as developing a new website for NWS, Roobix is also engaged to provide ongoing input on the marketing strategy, assist with a number of design and communication activities as well as execute on-going Search Engine Optimisation and electronic Direct Mail campaigns.

Roads Foundation
The Roads Foundation is a not for profit charity that provides support to people starting a career in Civil Construction.
The Roads Foundation wanted to refresh its messaging and collateral and turned to Roobix for some fresh ideas. “In the civil construction industry it’s a struggle to find a brochure or flyer that doesn’t have a picture of machinery or a road on it,” commented Executive Director, Ashley Little. “At The Roads Foundation, we offer a service that is pretty difficult to articulate in words, so we needed collateral that was able to tell our story and make us stand out from the crowd”.
Roobix's illustrative designers where able to create a scene depicting the construction industry, incorporating all the stakeholders involved with the Roads Foundation.
“We were delighted with the end product,” commented Ashley. “Roobix even output each character as an individual image for us, so we can use the theme across all our internal collateral”.

Narembeen Motel
When Ian and Kellie Mortimore purchased the Narembeen Motel in August 2012 they knew there was a lot of work ahead of them. The motel was in need of serious refurbishment and nearly everything from carpets to curtain rails needed replacing. The Mortimores knew it would be worth it as there weren’t any quality accommodation offerings in Narembeen. Before they reopened the doors of the newly refurbished Narembeen Motel, people travelling for business in the Wheatbelt were having to stay 70 kilometres away.
With their occupancy rate up and business going well, Kellie Mortimore felt this was their opportunity to do more to promote tourism for the local community and further boost their own business. She approached the Wheatbelt Business Network for some advice about marketing. Roobix was one of the contacts they provided to her. Kellie felt that Roobix looked the most professional and knew what they were doing. She reached out to them explaining her goals and get the ball rolling.
Roobix sent Kellie a comprehensive marketing plan detailing:
- How they would help build awareness of the Narembeen community
- How they would help increase occupancy rates at the motel
- The first step was a website and collateral refresh for the Narembeen Motel.
Roobix delivered an attractive and functional website that included online booking functionality. Bookings previously had to be taken over the phone and guests couldn’t check if accommodation would be available for their chosen dates.
Website images and the Narembeen logo were also refreshed to match the new look and feel.
Roobix assisted in creating a Facebook page and ensuring it was kept up to date with a well-considered content plan. This helped to build more awareness of the tourism potential and gave previous guests a place where they could share their positive experiences.
Less visible but no less important were the online ads that Roobix designed and ran. They helped more people find out about the Narembeen Motel and the attractions of the local community. The ads also helped to improve occupancy at the motel and encouraged more people to pay Narembeen a visit.
Ian and Kellie were very happy with how smoothly everything went and how quick Roobix responded to feedback. As a bonus, when the Mortimores decided to sell the Motel, they felt the new website was a factor in getting the new owner across the line as they would have a high quality website and online booking system in place right away.
