Roobix are delighted to once again support the WA Sports Federation 2018 RAC WA Sports Star Awards. On Monday the 8th of October, the event launched at Optus Stadium, with key stakeholders and sports stars gathering in celebration as the nominations were officially opened.
The RAC WA Sports Star Awards are Western Australia’s premier sporting awards and enable the WA community to both recognise excellence in sport and celebrate the achievements of WA sportspeople. The Awards have a long tradition of promoting and supporting WA talent with last year’s RAC WA Sports Star, Samantha Kerr, having won the Junior Sports Star Award in 2010.
In 2017, Roobix supported the WA Sports Federation to undertake a digital transformation of the Award nomination process. This included the implementation of a custom-built online nomination portal for the electronic submission of nominations for the first time in the Awards history. Roobix also seamlessly delivered RSVP management via Evnto, Roobix’s proprietary event management system.
Roobix are proud to once again support the Awards this year and will also be partnering with the WA Sports Federation to develop a 2019 marketing strategy, delivered as part of a Managed Marketing Service.
